Hulk Hogan and his wife have finally reached a settlement in their divorce case.

At a brief hearing Tuesday morning in Clearwater, Fla., Hogan, 55, and his wife Linda announced that they’ve agreed to the terms of the split.

“We’ve reached a marital settlement agreement,” Ray Rafool, Linda’s attorney, told the judge.

In a statement to, Hogan’s rep says, “Hulk is looking forward to moving on with his life and is very hopeful that he and Linda can maintain a friendship and work together as parents to their two children.”

Look back at Hollywood’s ugliest splits

The terms were not made public. (In 2008 court filings, the couple’s net worth was listed at between $26 million and $32 million.)

Before the proceedings began, Hulk, whose real name is Terry Bollea, and Linda were spotted smiling, according to a local ABC affiliate. At one point, she even kissed his cheek.

“The war is over,” Linda said after the hearing.

‘G-Force’ topples ‘Harry Potter’ at box office

LOS ANGELES — An elite squad of guinea pigs has worked its own brand of magic at the box office, taking the No. 1 spot from boy wizard Harry Potter.

The 3-D “G-Force” was the top movie at the box office this weekend, opening with $32.2 million, according to studio estimates Sunday. The Walt Disney release from producer Jerry Bruckheimer, with its mixture of live action and computer-generated animation, is a “Mission: Impossible”-style adventure. It features voiceover work from Nicolas Cage, Sam Rockwell, Tracy Morgan and Penelope Cruz as resourceful rodents.

Last week’s No. 1 film, “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince,” came in a close second with an estimated $30 million. That’s a whopping 61-percent drop from its huge opening last weekend of $79.5 million.

Coming in third was another of the week’s wide releases, the battle-of-the-sexes romantic comedy “The Ugly Truth,” which had a $27 million opening.

The sixth installment in the Harry Potter franchise has now made $222 million total, which is $14 million ahead of where part five, “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix,” was after 12 days in theaters in 2007. And this week, “Half-Blood Prince” will start showing on 166 IMAX screens, which the last “Harry Potter” movie did from the start.

“So we’re coming in with this one (in IMAX) a little bit late, but it’s going to be a great addition and it’ll keep our momentum going,” said Dan Fellman, Warner Bros.’ head of distribution.

“G-Force” triumphed in a crowded summer marketplace with its combination of 3-D effects and the Disney and Bruckheimer brands, said Mark Zoradi, president of Disney’s motion-picture group.

“You never go into a situation where you’re competing against two important movies — the second weekend of ‘Harry Potter’ and the opening weekend of ‘The Ugly Truth’ — you never go in cocky,” Zoradi said.

The one-two of PG-rated movies reinforces the fact that summer is prime family movie time, said Paul Dergarabedian, box-office analyst for

“This summer is all about packaging and escapism,” Dergarabedian said of the strong showing for “G-Force.” “People were scratching their heads and dragging their kids to go see this thing. They were watching the trailers with absolute shock going, ‘Is that really happening?’ But as a kid you’re like, ‘I gotta go see it.’ This is a testament to the fact that Jerry Bruckheimer, like (‘Transformers’ director) Michael Bay, knows exactly what summer movie audiences want.”

Top 10 Reality Romances Gone Wrong

LOS ANGELES, Calif. — Jessica and Nick, Jon and Kate, Britney and K-Fed…what do these former celebrity couples have in common? They have all fallen victim to the reality romance curse!

Many a Hollywood couple has found the opportunity to turn their real-life romance into a small screen hit! While these couples start off as love stricken stars, things quickly turn and the love fizzles. We could argue that the couples would have never lasted, but it seems to be a consistent trend, that once you take your love to the airwaves, the reality romance curse is bound to set in!
Access counts down the Top 10 reality romances that turned sour!

10. Brigitte Nielsen and Flavor Flav – Perhaps the most bizarre reality pairing in history! These two “Surreal” stars first found love on the set of the VH1 series “The Surreal Life.” They left audiences bewildered, and wondering if their love was the real deal. VH1 quickly monopolized on the odd-couple and created the spin-off series “Strange Love,” which explored the in and outs of the eccentric duo. The duo finally split in 2005 after an on-camera breakdown. We hope the power of reality TV conjures up some more strange pairs in the future!

9. Carmen Electra and Dave Navarro – The Playmate and her rocker beau withstood one reality show, centered around their dating relationship, and faced another reality hurdle after they tied the knot with the MTV series, “Til Death Do Us Part.” The former Mrs. Dennis Rodman displayed her unusual relationship with her rocker mate Dave in the very short-lived reality show. After only three years of marriage, the pair decided to split. Although the two may have fallen out of love, the break-up remained amicable. The two are still good friends!

8. Hulk and Linda Hogan – The wrestling star faced an out of the ring battle when his wife of 24 years filed for divorce in 2007. The duo had been on the rocks for a decade and their VH1 reality series, “Hogan Knows Best,” highlighted their martial struggles. Although the couple had struggled publicly, their reality series was apparently the last straw. Since the divorce, the Hogans have gone their separate ways. Linda is now dating 20-year-old Charley Hill and the Hulkster has been linked to Brooke Hogan look-alike Jennifer McDaniel.

7. Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler – The inked Blink-182 drummer and the former Miss USA may have been an unconventional pair, but the two seemed head over heels during the first season of MTV’s “Meet The Barkers.” The love story quickly came to an end after reports of infidelity spread and the second season of the series became the pair’s last. The two filed for divorce after only two years of marriage. They have two children together, and Shanna has a 7-year-old daughter from a previous relationship with boxer Oscar De Le Hoya. Shanna and Travis have been up and down since their split, exchanging a few public jabs. But when Travis needed Shanna most after his near-fatal jet crash, she was reportedly right by his side. Kudos for setting aside the reality curse!

6. Lauren Conrad and Jason Whaler – The reality teens started dating during their stint on the MTV hit “Laguna Beach.” Shortly after the teens left “Laguna,” Lauren headed for “The Hills.” Jason became a fixture during the show’s first season, and the two endured a roller coaster relationship. During the season finale, Lauren famously turned down an internship in Paris to stay with her beach beau. In August of 2006, the couple called it quits. To make matters worse, some claim it was Jason who started spreading the infamous “Hills” sex tape rumors that drove LC and Heidi apart. Although, Spencer certainly didn’t help much. Lauren recently retired from “The Hills” and is currently dating actor, Kyle Howard. We hope that her departure from reality TV helps her maintain a stable relationship!

5. Hugh Hefner and ‘The Girls Next Door’ – The Playboy pimp and his entourage of leading ladies — Holly, Bridget, and Kendra — started off as one big happy family. But after a few seasons of their E! Reality series, “The Girls Next Door,” the three lovely bunnies bounced! The infamous magazine mogul has made a career out of romancing young women, and the “Girls Next Door” seemed no different. After three seasons of captivating audiences, the bunnies left the mansion one by one. First to go was main girlfriend Holly Madison, who briefly dated Las Vegas illusionist Criss Angel. Second to step away was Bridget, who had been with Hef since 2002. Lastly, Kendra packed up and left the mansion. Kendra signed on for her own reality show, aptly titled “Kendra,” with new fiance Hank Baskett. She recently announced that she has a baby on the way, so let’s hope that these two can fend off the curse!

4. Jason Mesnick and Melissa Rycroft – Jason became the fan favorite after being rejected by “Bachelorette” DeAnna Pappas, and was then chosen to become the next “Bachelor” where he could try to control his own love destiny. But oh, how perceptions quickly change. The single father was left with two lucky ladies during the season finale, and ultimately chose Texas native Melissa Rycroft. During a tumultuous “After The Rose” show, Jason dropped a bomb on Melissa — and the viewers — by dumping her on national television. Melissa was shocked, but the real jaw-dropper came when Jason asked for a second chance with runner-up Molly Malaney. After getting dumped, Melissa came back swinging with a successful stint on the ABC series “Dancing With the Stars.” Jason and Molly are still going strong, and Melissa recently got engaged to insurance agent Tye Strickland. This reality romance went sour, but looks like everything turned out for the best!

3. Britney Spears and Kevin Federline – It’s the classic story of pop princess meets… back-up dancer?? Britney and her former back up dancer, Kevin Federline, exchanged vows in a secret 2004 wedding, and went on to have two sons together. The two shared the small screen in their appropriately titled reality series “Chaotic,” which showcased the pop starlet and her bad boy beau sharing their lives together. Rumors of infidelity quickly spread, and after only two years of marriage, the duo called it quits, claiming “irreconcilable differences.” Britney suffered from a very public meltdown and folks within her inner circle worried about her sanity and career. Now back on tour and reportedly dating her manager, the pop queen shares custody of her two children with Kevin and the two remain civil. It was recently announced that Mr. Federline will be taking his two sons and his new girlfriend back to the small screen for a VH1 reality series. For entertainment purposes, we hope this show is just as “Chaotic!”

2. Jon and Kate Gosselin – The picture perfect family has crumbled, and is now is in the center of a full-blown media hurricane! The two started out as the idyllic parents of two — and then soon eight — adorable children in 2007 with the launch of their TLC hit “Jon and Kate Plus Eight.” Cameras followed the couple as we watched them struggle to raise sextuplets and twins. Fans soon began siding with the two very different parents, controlling Kate and easy going Jon. Earlier this year, rumors quickly started flying that Jon was allegedly cheating on Kate and that the two were headed for splitsville. Rumors of the rift were confirmed in June when the couple officially filed for divorce, and production of their show was put on halt. In recent days Jon has been galloping around town with 22-year-old Hailey Glassman, while Kate has been at home with the kids. For the sake of the 8, we hope that these two can remain friends!

1. Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey – The original reality romance gone bad! These two pop stars met in 1998 and were a match made in music heaven! The stars exchanged vows in 2002 with a lavish Texas ceremony. MTV soon picked up the rights to the couple’s martial bliss by signing on for “Newlyweds.” The couple soon became America’s sweethearts, with a slew of unforgettable moments that centered on Jessica’s consistent blonde antics — perhaps, most famously her “Chicken of the Sea’ mix-up. In 2006, after only three years of marriage, the couple called it quits. Nick soon started dating actress Vanessa Minillo, while Jessica was linked to John Mayer and Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo. Both Nick and Jessica recently parted ways with their significant others and rumors of a rekindled love were soon in full force. Could we see a Jess and Nick reunion? Only time — and the world of reality TV — will tell!

Experts: Full criminal probe in Jackson case

LOS ANGELES – The odd array of evidence police collected from Michael Jackson’s personal physician’s clinic and storage unit shows authorities are trying to follow a trail of drugs and looking into the doctor’s record keeping as they attempt to unravel what led to the pop star’s death.

Search warrants targeting Dr. Conrad Murray’s Houston clinic and his storage unit mean authorities have moved into a full-fledged criminal investigation, looking toward the kind of court case they could build against the physician, legal experts said Friday.

“This is no longer a cause of death investigation,” said attorney Mark Geragos, who once represented Jackson. “This is about building a criminal case.”

Loyola University law professor Laurie Levenson said she expects to see search warrants served at more places associated with Murray and for investigators to be interviewing his employees.

“I do think they believe there’s high suspicion that he may be responsible” for Jackson’s death, she said.

Los Angeles police and Drug Enforcement Administration agents executed the warrants Wednesday. The language in the documents said the evidence is being gathered as part of a manslaughter investigation targeting Murray.

Authorities have not publicly termed their investigation criminal and still say Murray is not a suspect.

The items seized included 27 tablets of the weight loss drug phentermine, a tablet of the muscle relaxant clonazepam, business cards, storage receipts, notices from the Internal Revenue Service and computer hard drives.

Niche Marketing 2.0

Listen, if you’re looking for a simple way to generate income online, then
you need to see this.

There’s something new – a new form of Niche Marketing called Niche
Marketing 2.0 that’s being secretly used by a handful of guys in the deep
inner circles of the Internet marketing elite..

And man o man, they’ve been literally *killing* it with this new method, and
no one had a clue what was going on.

Until now…

Two of the most successful Niche Marketers out there – Adam Short, and
Alen Sultanic – who regularly generate 5 figures per month online from their
“part-time” niche businesses, broke the silence and revealed this new method
right out, plus put their own twist on it that puts it on *steroids.*

Heck, they should call this Niche Marketing 10.0, because it’s light years ahead
of anything else out there.

Ok lets cut to the chase now.

Hop over to to get all the juicy details on Niche Marketing 2.0
and check it out.

But listen, before you go over there and see for yourself, I want to tell you the
*best* part about Niche Profit Classroom.

The best part, absolutely the best (and you’ll see for yourself), is that Niche
Profit Classroom is a new type of hybrid site. It has over 400+ hours of videos
to show you everything step by step in the most microscopic detail.

It has software built right into the site so you can put some serious fire power
behind everything you learn.

But best of all, it has a built in community that’s *always* there for you when
you need help to steer you in the right direction.

This is the TOP reason 99% of people fail to generate income online, because
they get everything from 100’s of different sources rather than finding one good
system that works. Then, even if they do find a good system, they don’t have
anyone there to help answer their questions (and there are bound to be some).

But at Niche Profit Classroom, the entire site is laser-focused on helping you
succeed. All of the software and tools were built to help you reach your goals fast.

Anyhow, don’t take my word for it (I expect you to make your own judgements
on what’s good and what’s not, I can only point you in the right direction).

Rich Britons help to drive up house prices in tax heavens

While house prices across Europe have plunged in recent months, a stream of wealthy tax exiles is continuing to push up property prices in offshore tax enclaves across the continent.

According to a new survey, tax havens from Gibraltar to the Isle of Man are bucking the slump, with many wealthy Britons helping to drive up prices.

The survey, by the Sovereign Group, an international offshore tax specialist, points to Monaco – home to businessmen including the Topshop boss Sir Philip Green – where prices have risen by up to 30%, while in neighbouring Provence they have fallen back rapidly. In Gibraltar a local estate agent reported “a marked increase in interest for properties”, in contrast to the nearby Costa del Sol, where home values have been in near-freefall.

Nearer home, Jersey’s chief government statistician said prices were up 7%. In neighbouring Guernsey, however, apartment prices are down, although house prices are stable. The Terra Firma private equity boss Guy Hands has recently relocated to Guernsey for tax reasons.

On the Isle of Man, prices this year are up 4% and one local agent said: “Enquiries from UK applicants have risen strongly.”

“The facts speak for themselves here,” said Howard Bilton, chairman of the Sovereign Group. “Property prices in the south of France and southern Spain are languishing in the worst slump they’ve seen in many years but on their outskirts are two little areas – Monaco and Gibraltar – where the market is extraordinarily resilient. We believe, and all our local sources are telling us, that much of this disparity is because of interest from a new breed of British tax refugee.”

Bilton said 20% of new business in his London office was coming from people looking to move offshore. Many are planning to take their businesses with them. “This is not the 1960s, when currency controls and limited communications made it difficult to relocate yourself and your business,” he said. “This is the broadband age, when voting with your feet is a very viable option for many.”
